Oct, 6 2011 India- Woke up with the fragrance of festivals. Dusshera celebrations, Durga Puja and Happy Dusshera Messages, phone beeping didn’t let me sleep. Finally picked my phone to reply to the wishes of friends and family and then a beep again, ‘One new mail’- the mail was a feed from Huffington post and the headline said, ‘Steve Jobs dead’. :O
In a state of shock I switched on my T.V and everywhere there was a celebration mode. I could only find a ticker running on Times Now as ‘Steve Job dies’ and the news confirm.
I don’t know why I was feeling so sad on one thing that I wish I could have met him once and in the rush opened my Laptop to read what happen. The techo-sphere was filled with condolences from the netizens. For the first time Google offered an obituary on its Homepage; Steve Jobs- 1955-2011.
In the middle of all this a line stuck me, Oct 4- for the first time Tim Cook revealed Iphone 4S and on Oct 5, Steve Job dies. Though it’s just a coincidence but still I couldn’t let it go away.
A man who has given his life for a dream to change the world with Apple, he couldn’t succeed in changing the world but he did changed our lives with some master pieces like Iphone , Ipad, Ipod and Mac. For him Apple was everything he would have battled for and that could be observed with him appearing in Conferences, Launches and Apple Events. He was battling with Cancer from almost a decade from now for apple. His sudden appearance in the launches, leaving people appalled and delivering the best has proved his devotion for Apple. This Coincidence is Coincidence or the man was content to see Tim taking his way and now he can take rest from his duties after all he chose Tim Cook out of the best in Apple. 
Steve Jobs once said:
“..the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. “
Hopefully he died in full satisfaction with what he has done and has achieved.
The world will miss this genius.
